Alex Watts is an Australian singer, songwriter, producer and DJ from Naarm/Melbourne whose music encompasses soul and indie pop.

Based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, Watts’ debut album ‘Another Step in the Dark’ was released in 2016, featuring the track Reunited, which has amassed over 49,000 streams, received love from triple j and was supported by a national tour. The self produced record was lauded for its mixture of vintage soul, ‘50s style rock’n’roll and orchestrated arrangements.

His second album, 2022’s ‘after this i’m going normal’, was recorded remotely in collaboration with co-producer Moses Carr during the long Melbourne lockdowns and consequently featured a mostly electronic backing, drawing from Watts’ love of house, disco and ambient textures.
